Iron & Gasoline
Behind the lens

The best pictures on this site were taken by people who will stand in the cold for an hour to catch one bike at the right angle. They deserve their names on the wall.

FarbArt Photography

The ride and event photography on Iron & Gasoline is the work of FarbArt Photography, who covers the Warsaw custom scene the way it deserves: close, patient, and with an eye for the moment a bike and its rider stop being separate things. If you have seen a photo here that makes you want to be on that ride, it is almost certainly his.

Jakub Kulesza

The photographs of my own K1100 build were shot by Jakub Kulesza. Kuba is also the friend who found the Mokotow garage with me, so he photographed that bike knowing exactly which bolts fought back. It shows in the pictures.

Everything else

The remaining photos are my own phone shots from five years of building, plus a handful of Unsplash placeholders standing in on posts that are still waiting for their own shoots. As real builds arrive, the placeholders go.

Two placeholder photos are used under Creative Commons licences: the R80 cafe racer by Red Max Speed Shop (CC BY-SA 2.0) and the hardtail Harleys at Beaulieu by Bryce Walker (CC BY 2.0), both via Flickr.
